With a BA in sculpture, I have always had a severe love for different textures and communicating emotions through them. I have been working around raw materials in Iceland after finding lots of ingredients during hikes like silica, clay in rivers, crystals, driftwood, herbs, rocks, ash. Together with a few fellow ceramicists I like to explore how to use these found materials into my work and keep learning from the island we live on and connect with the roots of ceramic vessels.
